I’m slowly filling up this page with much loved kuih recipes from my childhood. That also include cookies we used to bake for our festive occasions, like Kuih Tart and Kuih Makmur. Bear with me as I fill it up!

There is no direct translation for this Malay word. It encompasses a wide range of goodies and can refer to both sweet and savoury foods. They are essentially small little items that one would eat in a single bite or two and can be baked, steamed or even fried.

Occasionally, you may find the odd contemporary recipe, when inspiration strikes.
